The Institute of Leadership and Development is the training and education arm of Advanced Life, devoted to training and educating everyone for influence in their communities. iLEAD is intended to be a state-of-the-art leadership institute that targets executives, managers and emerging leaders in private, public, and religious organizations for the purpose of leadership training and development.
THE CHALLENGE
One of the main problems affecting the growth and development of the African continent is a lack of sound leadership. Notwithstanding issues related to the legacy of colonialism, poverty, political instability, sickness and disease, it goes without argument that many of the issues that ail the continent and its people can be significantly improved with strong, courageous, transparent leadership committed to the good of the people.
iLEAD recognizes this crisis in leadership and is committed to being a part of the solution. The institute’s goal is to advance the development of Africa, specifically West Africa by providing the leadership tools necessary to develop and equip a new generation of effective leaders, one person at a time. Leadership training is about changing mindsets, attitudes, and ultimately behavior. We are committed to the ideal of cultivating leadership excellence and we believe that with the right tools, every person can become an influencer in their families, workplaces, churches, businesses, and communities.
